Made in India: अब दिमाग़ ही नहीं, लोहे पर भी भारत की मुहर।
अमेरिका में रहते हुए, एक भारतीय के नाते, निगाहें अपने-आप Made in India ढूँढने लगती हैं। और सच कहूँ—जहाँ भी यह टैग दिख जाता है, दिल में एक quiet pride महसूस होती ही है।
मगर हाल के कुछ वर्षों में एक मज़ेदार चीज़ नोटिस में आई—Made in India ने धीरे-धीरे एक बिल्कुल अलग ही प्रोडक्ट में अपनी monopoly बना ली है।
वो प्रोडक्ट है—Manhole Cover।
यहीं से दिमाग़ में सवाल उठता है—
भाई, अमेरिका जैसा developed country मैनहोल के ढक्कन भी इंडिया से क्यों मंगवा रहा है?
कारण बहुत simple है
इंडिया अब सिर्फ़ service hub नहीं रहा, बल्कि manufacturing ka workhorse बन चुका है।
Manhole cover जैसी चीज़:

- extreme load सहती है
- strict standards के हिसाब से बननी चाहिए
- और सबसे बड़ी बात—cost-effective होनी चाहिए
भारत के पास यहाँ एक natural advantage है।
देश में cast iron / ductile iron industry का दशकों का experience है।
एक मजबूत foundry network, skilled labour, और large-scale production capacity मौजूद है।
आज कई भारतीय कंपनियाँ:
- international certifications के साथ
- quality testing & compliance के साथ
- US और Europe के standards के अनुसार
सीधे supply कर रही हैं।

इसलिए अमेरिकी municipalities और contractors बिना हिचक order देते हैं।

अमेरिका में infrastructure upgrade का काम लगातार चल रहा है—
- road repair
- sewer lines
- storm drainage
- smart city projects

- महंगी पड़ती है
- supply chain slow हो सकती है
- और contractors को चाहिए—काम कल से शुरू करना है

असली Made in India की ताक़त
हम विदेश में गर्व किस पर करते हैं? IT professionals, doctors, engineers, CEOs—बिल्कुल सही।
लेकिन real Made in India power तब दिखती है जब अमेरिका की सड़क के नीचे जो system चलता है, उस system के ऊपर लगी ढक्कन पर भी INDIA की मुहर लगी हो।
अंत में बस इतना
भारत अब सिर्फ़ brains export नहीं करता… अब iron पर भी अपना नाम ठोक कर export करता है।
And honestly— यह गर्व किसी CEO की business card से कम नहीं।
